Held at Club Nokia, the recently married couple spent time together backstage alongside Noreen Fraser of the Noreen Fraser Foundation after Brand was honored at the annual event.
Meanwhile, fans of Miss Perry can look forward to catching her performance during the pre-taped HH1 Divas Salute the Troops event.
Set to air later tonight (December 5) at 9:00 PM ET/PT on VH1, other performers partaking in the armed forces honoring show include Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Nettles, Keri Hilson and Kathy Griffin.

A short while later, the 16-year-old pop sensation added, “heard there are a lot of kids at this event who havent had it easy. I know what that is like so i got some surprises”
As for the annual event, Variety’s Power of Youth is “an initiative that celebrates top young talent and their involvement with philanthropic and humanitarian causes, and encourages their fans around the world to get involved and give back too.”
