While she opted against hitting the blue carpet for the People’s Choice Awards, Lauren Conrad turned up for the afterparty festivities in West Hollywood on Wednesday night (January 5).

The MTV reality star/author looked stylish as she made her way into the Covergirl 50th Anniversary Celebration at BOA Steakhouse.

Once passed through the arrivals area, LC quickly got to mingling with fellow guests while making a stop by Samantha Ronson in the deejay area.

The outing comes as Miss Conrad is gearing up for her return to the small screen with a brand new reality show on MTV focusing on her fashion efforts.
