Seemingly not up to snuff, Katie Holmes will no longer be seen portraying Jackie-O on The History Channel in “The Kennedys” this spring.

The eight-part miniseries didn’t make the cut on the network, as a rep told THR, “While the film is produced and acted with the highest quality, after viewing the final product in its totality, we have concluded this dramatic interpretation is not a fit for the History brand.”

While the series – which also stars Greg Kinnear – will still be broadcast internationally, stateside plans are now up in the air.

Not letting the news dampen her spirits, the former “Dawson’s Creek” actress was all smiles as she and daughter Suri spent Friday night (January 7) visiting family patriarch Tom Cruise on the Vancouver set of his new “Mission: Impossible” film.
